This is a sixteen-question "trick" test to help students learn to read and follow directions. This resource can be used at the beginning of the year, on April Fools Day, to help with test prep, or anytime to help reinforce classroom procedures. This test is great for students in third grade and higher. If students read the first question correctly and follow the directions they will not do any of the silly things in the list and will only complete numbers 1 & 2.
This is a great beginning-of-the-year activity! Have students fill out the triangles with bright colors. Hexagons can be cut out and placed around each other to create a mural in your classroom.
