Experience

I have taught in the classroom for 5 years and love every second of it! I have grown so much over the years, and become a better teacher, daily. There isn't anything I won't try or won't learn.

Teaching style

My teaching style has drastically changed over the years. I started out not knowing much about style or teaching practices, but grew to be data driven. I keep tons of data on my students and it helps me plan and guide further instruction. I also believe in the "Power of YET" and that learning takes different paths for some kiddos. My classroom today is uplifting, fun, engaging, and exploratory. I love connecting with my students on a deeper level and seeing how deep their brains go. I love watching them develop a better sense of understanding and then seeing that light bulb! It truly is the BEST!

My own education history

I have a Masters Degree in Education and plan on either a second Masters Degree or a Doctorate in the near future. I want to go as high as I can and continue learning, daily!
