Colorful sentence starters poster for any classroom! All students will benefit from having a reference to starting any short response or sentence in an essay. Starters are broken into four categories: for adding additional details, to show examples, to show time and order, to compare and contrast.

Let students rank their level of understanding with a 1, 2, 3, or 4. Each poster details how students feel about their knowledge of any given topic. Can be used in all grades and subject matters! A reminder that "I don't know" is not an answer! Encourage students to extend their thinking to show that learning is a process and answers take time.

Use as a bell ringer or exit ticket on Fridays! Form keeps track of student emails and aggregates responses into Google Sheet.
