About the store
I teach math to deaf students at a residential school for the Deaf. I primarily teach middle school math and Algebra 1 but have taught all grades from K to 12 ranging from counting to calculus! I use American Sign Language as the language of communication for instruction so all my students learn through their eyes rather than their ears, hence my store, Eye Learn Math.

This is a set of 24 task cards.
14 cards require regrouping
10 cards do not require regrouping
Do 3 digit addition with and without regrouping. Each card has a different character on it. When students solve each problem they have to match the character with his or her name by finding the name card with the matching answer.

Experience

Teaching style
Many of my students have learning disabilities that make accessing a textbook very difficult for them. I try to make materials to help them access the curriculum in a more meaningful and memorable way.
My own education history
I graduated from Duquesne University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have a master's degree in Deaf Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
