About the store
I teach math to deaf students at a residential school for the Deaf. I primarily teach middle school math and Algebra 1 but have taught all grades from K to 12 ranging from counting to calculus! I use American Sign Language as the language of communication for instruction so all my students learn through their eyes rather than their ears, hence my store, Eye Learn Math.

Translation, Reflection, and Rotation Scavenger Hunt
This product contains 10 task cards that require students to perform translations, reflections and rotations of triangles and quadrilaterals.
Directions for translations are given in units up/down or left/right. Reflections are only over the x and y axes.
Rotations are clockwise and counter clockwise about the origin only.

Teaching style
Many of my students have learning disabilities that make accessing a textbook very difficult for them. I try to make materials to help them access the curriculum in a more meaningful and memorable way.
My own education history
I graduated from Duquesne University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have a master's degree in Deaf Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
