Experience

I have been a dedicated Family and Consumer Science educator with a wealth of experience spanning 16 years. I have taught both high and middle school students in both Special Education and FACS. With an unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation, My goal is to impact my students lives through the world of FCS education.

Teaching style

My teaching style is mainly focused on fostering student engagement. My goal is to make learning not just informative but also incredibly enjoyable. I also believe in the power of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). Recognizing that education goes beyond textbooks, I have integrated SEL activities into my curriculum. Through these activities, students not only acquire essential life skills but also develop emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience, preparing them for the challenges of the future.
