I am a middle and high school math teacher. I have been teaching math for 17 years and tutoring many different levels of math for over 19 years. I have taught and tutored math for students in grades 5th though 10th grade, including Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. I am currently the head of the math department at a private school in the Boston area.

This is a challenging worksheet that has students review powers of i and the Binomial Theorem. Students will then merge these two skills together. There is no answer key included, because my students check their work on their TI-Nspire calculator.

Teaching style
I am familiar with multiple methods and approaches for teaching. I am always looking for and creating new ways to have my lessons be formative and student-centered while covering a traditional math curriculum.

I presented at NCTM in the fall of 2010 in Baltimore and spoke about how I approach/teach Rate ("train") Problems.
