I have created a unit that has 3rd grade social studies components. It includes a teacher slides presentation, student digital notebook and packet, instructions, and additional resources. The digital notebooks can be done on their own devices instead of using the packet. This strategy keeps students highly engaged and saves on copies. Teaching style
I believe in the workshop model. I do reading workshop, writing workshop, and math groups. I teach science and social studies whole class and try to have fun engaging activities that students enjoy doing.
