About the store
I taught 4th grade at a high-poverty school in Nashville for two years. I taught a combined 1st/2nd grade class before moving to first grade for the next few years. I looped up to second grade for the 2015-2016 school year! Now, I get to revisit all these grades again as an English Language Learner coteacher!

Moon Observation Journal

This is a way of giving some structure for your students to observe the moon phases and document what they see. Students are given a circle as well as space for the date of the entry and space for the name of the phase. If you copy the journal double-sided, you can get them to observe an entire lunar cycle.

Students are responsible for a visual that draws on their knowledge of polygons as well as small written pieces explaining plot, character, characters, and setting of their made up world. Designed and executed as a cooperative project, students could also complete the task individually.
