This project is fun and easy to set up. It incorporates the common core standards for Reading and allows the students to get out of the worksheet cycle and into the classroom fun zone! There are notes included about character traits and an extended activity for writing.

This project is best used after reading "My Brother Martin" by Christine Farris. This will take 1-2 classes to complete. It goes over vocabulary skills,author's purpose,comprehension skills,prefixes and suffixes,common nouns and proper nouns. It is fun and is based on standards for testing. The kids love it!!! I would allow them to work with a partner when completing this project.

This ten page packet contains practice problems for facts and opinions,synonyms and antonyms, figurative language, writing prompts and much more!! This packet can be used all together or as single worksheets for skill practice. This packet can be used to make sure students do not lose all the information they have learned all year over the long holiday break.

This activity can be used with any Social Studies unit you are teaching. It is a fun activity that targets Social Studies, Writing, and Grammar Curriculum. It allows the students to review key information and be able to articulate what they learned in a fun and easy way.
