Mailing Sort Functional Work Task
The students will sort the stamps, addresses, and post cards to match for each character. This is a functional work station used in an autism classroom but it could easily be used in a primary classroom.
I printed, laminated, and cut out the stamps, addresses, and post cards. I also cut off the fold and laminated my envelopes. I used a straight edge to cut the envelope back open. I then put Velcro on the pieces and the envelopes in the correct location for
A months worth of prompts for higher functioning writers that can cut and pasted into the top of the journal (notebook) and then write from.
A months worth of cut and paste picture words to create a sentence that correlates with the journal prompts.
Used in an autism classroom.
Could be used in a center laminated and cut to create sentences.
Food group sorting cards:
These can be used in a lesson or as a functional work station for students with special needs.
I printed them on card stock, laminated them, and cut them out. I purchased a file box and used the food group label cards to label each tab in the file box.
I then created a functional work station where the students have to file the correct food behind the correct food group tab.
