This FREE, editable resource is a Venn diagram to compare and contrast the novel Holes to its Disney movie adaption. An example answer key is included, though your students may come up with additional responses. I recommend students to come up with at least 10 items to show what they know. Enjoy! These "paw"sitive behavior punch cards were designed as a behavior incentive for the elementary school classroom. They are perfect for a classroom with a paw print decoration or theme or for schools with any type of cat mascot. Students punch a paw print each time they're caught participating or doing something good to earn a reward. Each page includes six punch cards and each card holds twenty paw prints.

This resource was created to allow students to practice with title capitalization rules. You can use as a formative assessment, centers activity, or as an exit ticket/assessment after teaching title capitalization rules. For use in a classroom library or in the media center, as it's a scavenger hunt format.

This is a learning goals scale for RI.2.4 and RL.2.4- unfamiliar words/using context clues and figurative language. This scale fits with Marzano's Design Question #1: What will I do to establish and communicate learning goals, track student progress, and celebrate success? This learning goals scale has activities aligned with each "level" of learning, so students and teachers know without a doubt how what level individuals are at. The scale can be posted in the classroom and copied for students.
