Do your students struggle with understanding word problems? Mine do! I created this poster to remind students of the steps for successful problem solving. If students can identify if they know the total, they can determine the correct operation for solving. Print as a poster or print smaller for student desks!
I created this to use with the earthquake article presented in lesson 2. The note catcher provided did not meet the needs of my students, so I simplified the task and added color coding to allow students to show where they found their evidence.
