A circle chart allows students to think about what they know on any given topic. This organizer encourages students to separate the critical story elements such as Problem, Solution, Characters, and Setting. This lesson works really well with the story "After the Fall" or something like that, which has clear story elements Runs for about 30-40 minutes, but can go longer or shorter.
