Experience

👩‍🏫 🤍 English & Special Education Teacher 🧒🏼👦🧒🏼 Mom of Three (Some Special Needs Included)

Teaching style

With my content, I focus on students expressing their understanding in the best way they know how and helping teachers reach their students on their level each day.

My own education history

I received my bachelor's degree for English and Secondary Education from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. I later pursued and received a Strat I-Mild/Moderate Disabilities endorsement online through Morningside University. *Seven Years Teaching 6-12 Grade Students (4 Years - English/Language Arts, 3 Years - Special Education) *Five Years with a Special Needs Child of My Own at Home (with two other energetic siblings)

Additional biographical information

As a wife and mom of three young children (ages 5 and under), I've come to develop an even deeper understanding of how important it is to provide support to those working with people and children. I hope to use my experiences in the classroom and at home to empower educators with practical strategies and resources to meet every student's needs with ease through the content I develop. Here's to making our days a little easier and feel more fulfilling more often!
