About the store
During my student teaching, I worked with 8th graders at the middle school level and 9th and 11th grade students at the high school level.
While at Mount St. Mary's University, I was a student leader in the Office of Social Justice, through which I led Service Learning trips and developed a Service Learning curriculum for a semester abroad.
This is my ninth year teaching! I am beyond excited to be working with 9th and 10th Grade students in English and Language Arts, and to be running the Yearbook program!

We Beat the Street Introduction Slides
Use these slides with students to introduce the novel We Beat the Street by Drs. Sampson Davis, Rameck Hunt, and George Jenkins. Teaching style
I love to engage in student-centered and experiential learning. When students learn from their environment and their peers, they become more reflective, collaborative, and well-rounded community members. My materials and lessons are often based on group work and peer development!
