Teaching style
I have been an educator since 2006. Since 2014, I've been a reading interventionist and enjoy designing curriculum that makes a real difference in students' learning journeys.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I'm proud to have been recognized as the Rookie Teacher of the Year at PCES in 2009 and Classroom Teacher of the Year for 2017-2018 at Phenix City Schools. These honors reflect my commitment to educational excellence and my dedication to fostering a love of learning in every student.
My own education history
I hold a Master's degree in Elementary Education, which has equipped me with advanced knowledge and skills to create high-quality, effective teaching materials. My educational background, combined with my extensive classroom experience, ensures that every resource I create is both practical and pedagogically sound.
Additional biographical information
Outside of my professional life, I am married with two children and two step-children. In my spare time, I love to fish and quilt, which allows me to unwind and express my creativity in different ways.
