I have taught 6 years in self-contained upper elementary classrooms, and I was recently promoted to the momma life! I am fortunate to be able to stay at home with my little one, but I still crave the creativity and chaos of the classroom. I have taught 6 years in self-contained upper elementary classrooms, and I was recently promoted to the momma life! I am fortunate to be able to stay at home with my little one, but I still crave the creativity and chaos of the classroom. I am tweaking my materials that I've used in the past for my store and will work to create new goods for you to enjoy as well.
Teaching style
Busy body! I love to be up and around, and I want my students engaged in this way too. My students and I loved using Whole Brain Teaching by Chris Biffle. Also, I love creating anchor charts. I am a visual learner myself, and I found it both therapeutic to color posters and highly effective as an anchor for learning. We keep the most important charts posted in the classroom for reference throughout the year.
