Identifying Emotions Activities
Students will practice and review identifying emotions with these fun FOOD themed identifying emotions mats. These activities are simple, NO-PREP activities. Simply print and you are ready to go. Students will identify the emotion show by covering it up with something that you provide them. Depending on what is appropriate and safe for your students, some fun options may include: counters, small toys, checkers, and play dough. Hey Everybody!
I'm Natalie. My background is in Special Education and I've worked with students with many different STRENGTHS and a wide range of ABILITIES. I'm currently teaching in a Pre-K/ECSE co-teach classroom. I create a variety of hands-on activities that keep students actively engaged in learning, provide visual structure, are easily adaptable for differentiation, and give students lots of opportunities for practice! Most of my activities are designed for early learners, students in special education, students with autism, and students receiving speech therapy. But these activities are also appropriate for many preschoolers, young elementary school students and English language learners. I've always believed that learning should be FUN! When students are actively engaged and having FUN, the learning follows!
