This graph is great for students to keep in their data binders. It keeps them accountable for tracking their iReady lessons. This document can be used all year as I have one made with the months on it and a second page for you to use however you'd like. If there is anything you wish to see added, all feedback is welcome! A great way for students to track their own data in iReady! They log the date, title of the lesson, and their quiz score. My students keep these in their data folder and are responsible for keeping up with their own data.

A fun topic for students to practice conducting research and writing expository texts! You will get two documents. 1 Research paper where students can document information they found on the planet they chose. 1 Draft paper that the students will begin writing their rough drafts. Hello there! I have for you second grade spelling words for the entire year! Each set of spelling words also has an assessment to go with it to cover the standard 2.RF.3.3: Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words. I like to print those pages off 4/page so I can save on paper! Then I send those tiny slips home to parents so they are aware of which sounds and spelling patterns their child needs extra practice with! Hope you enjoy!

These charts will help you keep your fluency data organized for your data notebook! There is also a student copy as well so the student can log their own progress and set goals for each quarter! This is also a great resource to keep in the student's planner/binder/what ever goes home so parents are able to see their fluency data as well! Enjoy!

Gone are the days you have to spend all this time creating substitute plans! Just keep this template around, tweak it to fix your schedule, and write what you would like the substitute to do that day! Much easier and less stressful on the teacher who cannot spend too much time creating sub plans!

This is the example of how I want my students take notes when they are on iReady. This is great to print and have students put in their journals or be one of the first pages in their data binders. This way the students know what the note taking expectations are. Hope this is helpful!

If you use Reading A-Z data, this chart will be a great help in keeping your data organized!

If you do Math journals, this is a great example for students to see what your expectations are for their journals! I have my students draw lines down and across their papers to make four squares. One box for pictures, numbers, and words. The last box is where I put their grade and any comments I may have. This is great to make poster sized so students can see it all year!

A chart for 2nd grade Reading A-Z to place in student data folders! There are goals for each quarter as well as the grade equivalency to each level.

If you use the GoMath series, here is a chart I created for students to log their Chapter scores. It also comes with a bar graph so students can understand what they have/have not mastered. Great for parents to see to keep updated as well!
