As part of my student's summative assessment experience, I have them create an art plaque for each summative artwork they submit. This serves two purposes: first, it requires students to analyze and reflect on their artwork (meeting critical art standards) and, second, each student artwork is ready for our end of term art show (creating the plaque when the piece is fresh in their mind).
