Sam is a board certified speech language pathologist who has clinical experience across the lifespan, with specific interest in the adult population within the home health, SNF, and IRF settings.
Whether it’s aphasia, apraxia, dysphagia, dysarthria, or cognitive impairments, Sam is passionate about offering evidenced-based therapy and working together with patients and their families to identify relevant, patient-centered goals that support functional and meaningful treatment.
Additionally, she includes patient and caregiver education and counseling in each treatment plan to increase health literacy in order to support self-advocacy and empower patients and families to make fully informed decisions.
