Use this lesson to teach how to make a good observation. TSW add the first handout to their science journal. TTW pass out a chocolate chip cookie to each student in a ziploc along with the first observation page. Mark the ziplocs in a way that you will know which belongs to each kiddo. TSW draw their cookie. TTW will need to act a little bit to create some sort of reason why you need to collect all cookies in their ziplocs.
