Included in this listing are 33 homework pages. Each page has literacy and math practice aligned to the CCSS. There is a second set of these same pages with a 'morning work' header.
These homework pages are meant to be sent home using one page per week. However, you may send them home more frequently (they just won't last the whole school year).
My experience: I used these with my first graders along with a reading long and extra practice every once in awhile. The parents really appreciated

Experience
I have been teaching for 7 years and LOVE it! I am teaching first grade for my second year and am enjoying every minute of it. I have a background in special education and I just received my ESL endorsement. To teach is to live through an adventure day by day!
Teaching style
All students can learn. I enjoy using different methods and strategies to help my learners grow! Some programs I implement in my classroom is Daily 5, Guided Reading Plus, and Daily 3 Math. I also use strategies from "whole brain teaching" aka "power teaching." Brain breaks are also an important part of our first grade experience!
My own education history
I went to school K-12 in a west suburb of Chicago. Then went to college at University of Northern Iowa. I Graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education k-6 and Special Education k-12. I went back to school for my ESL endorsement as well!
