About the store

Experience

Digital and physical products that get your K-2 students practicing their phonics and math skills to become fluent and gain mastery in skills! Let me take all the prep away so you can relax.

Teaching style

Positive reinforcement with a focus on relationships and student social/emotional needs. I also am focused on differentiation for gifted/talented population. I love using technology in my classroom where it will help my lesson pacing, flow, and rigor while also keeping my students engaged and interacting in ways they couldn't before. I am also a huge believer in flexible seating in primary grades.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My own education history

I received my M.Ed. from the University of Utah in Elementary Education. I received my ESL and Gifted/Talented endorsements and am currently working on my educational technology endorsement. I am LETRS and Google Education Level 1 and 2 certified.

Additional biographical information

Born and raised in Utah. Lived in California for a while chasing the dream of being a world famous chef back in the 2000's when all the Food Network chefs made it look so fun! When I am not working, I love to read books on my Kindle, watch the news (yes, I am that person), go on walks with my bulldog, and play video games. If I could go anywhere in the world, it would be Europe. More specifically Italy, France, and Ireland. Wanted to visit Japan when I was younger and did a study abroad in Osaka. Highly recommend visiting at least once.
