Here is a fun packets with a lot of activities that students can do independently after you teach them the content. This includes memory/matching games, picture sorts, missing vowel write, and more. I love to use these as task cards that my students can do during small group rotations. These activities align well with Fundations.

Here is a fun, engaging games for your students. This game you match the numbers with the same numbers to make a pencil. I have use dominoes, tallies, and base ten blocks to make a number. I have used the numbers 0-12.

Here is a perfect digraph sort for your students. This activity focuses on digraphs in the beginning of a word. I made this for task boxes for my students. Print, laminate, and cut. They are ready to go. I made big cards for the digraph sound. Then the little cards are the pictures they have to sort. There are no words with the pictures so that the students can think about the sound that the word has.

This is a perfect activity for partner work or small group work. The purple strips have words that have the ng or nk glued sounds. One students will grab a purple slip and without showing their partner, they will read it. Then the partner will spell the word. After the word is spelled they are able to self check.
