This activity is a great addition that can be used in the classroom in a variety of ways! This can be used in centers, as a fast finisher, morning tub activity, or a supplement to a math lesson! Students use a deck of cards or dice to start at the top ghost and continually add upon each sum with a new addend for each new ghost. Students work to get the ghosts back to the haunted house!

This product works great with Write Now writing program or can be used independently to introduce, review, or practice topic sentences with 2 styles. Just say it topic sentences should be short and straight to the point. Asking a question can be a strategy helped to introduce a topic and help students show creativity in their topic sentences.
