Using a deck of playing cards, flip over 4 cards to make two two digit numbers. Write the greater number on top and the lesser number on bottom. Then subtract! I have my students play in partners so each student flips two cards to make a number to create the subtraction problem. Then both students solve to see if they get the right answer.
