Use these printables to create a birthday wall in your classroom! Included in the zip file download is a 15"x4" .png image file for the birthday header, 5"x5" name tag for student name/bday date, a PDF with the birthday sign and 15 name tags, and PDF with 6 name tags only to print extras. Laminate and use as dry erase to switch them out each month/year.

This is a calendar that can be used with any month, just laminate and use as a dry-erase board, or use sticky notes and swap them out when needed. Each month is included (EXCEPT JULY) and goes with my modern tropical classroom theme. Zip file included in the download contains the .png image file for a 36"x24" calendar, individual .png files for each 17"x3" month, and a PDF file for easy printing of all months on 17"x11" paper. These files are NOT editable.

This ratio choice board, or tic-tac-toe board, incorporates the 8 different types of intelligence to help meet the needs of all students. Each google slide is linked to a task on the board for easy movement between tasks for students. Included is a description and rationale for each task for teacher use (find link in speaker notes on slide 1). All 6th grade math standards are listed with the standard number, description, and example (if included in the standard). Each domain (5) is color coded using the same background pattern. This activity requires students to fill in the missing information (organelle name or description). It can be used for instruction or as a review activity. There are also review questions that cover prior knowledge. I have my students fold the page in half and put it into their interactive notebooks.

This project integrates a science research project with creative writing and art for students to exercise multiple skills. It is best used in upper-elementary to lower-middle grades and it can be modified or enriched as needed. I generally have students complete the project after unit of study on ocean life & habitat and show them the movie "Finding Nemo."
