Experience

I have taught Mathematics in the UK for ten years in secondary schools up to the age 18. Experience teaching from Keystage 3 to 5 and teaching Further Mathematics. Prior to this I worked as a specialist mathematics teaching assistant for two years.

Teaching style

My favourite lessons are ones where someone walks in looking to speak to me and can't spot me as I am sitting with groups of students engaged in discussions, and prompting students with work. My resources are designed to work on more than one level, resources you can use across different age and ability ranges. In group work or for individuals. The resources I create always aim to encourage students to support each other and create mathematical discussions.

My own education history

I have a BSc in Mathematics and a PGCE.
