I have taught at Logan High School in Logan, WV, for two years. I was hired to teach English 11, but have since also taught English 10, public speaking, and world mythologies.

My classroom is run much like a community. Sometimes, students work together; other times, they work individually; but we are always building off of each other. I prefer project-based learning rather than simply assigning endless tests, as I believe these will be more practical for students in the long run and more telling for me as to how well students have mastered objectives. As for myself, I am painstakingly organized, as it makes my classroom easier to manage.

Formally, I graduated from Logan High School in 2010, and then went on to graduate from Marshall University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education, 5-Adult. Informally, I am always learning new things. :)
