Love Monster Glyph and Poem

Students will love creating a love monster craft, but it's also a glyph. This includes a poem, data analysis forms (half-sheets), instructions, and a mini-poster to display with the glyphs on a bulletin board. Some templates are included (eyes, mouth, heart-shaped body). *Arms/legs, teeth, and hair can be made from square/rectangle shapes from available paper so templates aren't included for these parts.

You can use this counting practice in many ways: cutting and pasting on paper, attaching to a strip to make a headband, using in a math center, or by making small flashcards. Students will enjoy decorating them. You can even incorporate coloring in a pattern or coloring evens/odds, etc. I’ve included several versions (0-5, 0-10, 10-20, counting by fives, and counting by tens). The numbers are mixed up so that the children have to put them in the correct order. There are a few blank ones tha

This “number of the day” daily math warm-up is a great activity to use daily, whole-class or independently. Use however you wish, but I recommend putting it in a plastic sleeve inside students’ binders, so they can practice this daily math warm-up with a dry-erase marker. You only need 1 copy for each student that will last all year if kept in a protector sheet (and wipe off their writing each day). Just choose the number of the day that you want (up to 999, since it only includes up to the h

Dog and Cat themed Hundred Chart

This hundred chart can be used whole-class or individually to practice counting to 100. The tens are a different color to make skip-counting by tens easier, and there are 2 different fonts to choose from (depending on whether you like the number 4 open or closed). You can give each child a copy and/or you can use whole-class. I'm stamping a pawprint on each day as we count during our calendar time, so that we'll have 100 pawprints on the 100th day of school (and it's easy to "track" the curre
