Teaching style

Focused Learning incorporates a variety of teaching methods and theories, with attention paid to Montessori materials and theme-based learning. Most of the activities created and provided here support the power of scaffolding - meeting each child where they are as an individual, and working to challenge them to take their development to the next level. Focused Learning believes that education should be an individualized experience, whether the child a homeschooled individual, or in a public classroom.

My own education history

Focused Learning believes in instilling passion for learning in all children, and helping them build a solid foundation so that they may take their first steps on a lifelong path of learning in a positive and encouraging environment.
