Hi all! I have worked in middle school for over 12 years and focused notes are my jam. In my time working with educators I found that it wasn't the actual note taking part that was difficult, it was the utilization of the notes after they were take, where many educators felt stuck. I started looking at my own practices and refining ways for my students to utilize their notes on a daily basis, to overcome the curve of forgetting, and prepare them to demonstrate mastery of the standard on their assessments.
