Two aliens are getting lunch. Most of what they say is in English, but some of their words are in Alienese. Use your context clues to figure out what those aliens are saying! Check for comprehension and practice evidence based question answering strategies with the fill in the blank activity included with this story.

Whole Group or Small Group, cut out these Consonant Letter Actions Cards and glue them onto card stock. Use these cards to review OR introduce the letter sound correspondence of consonants! Ask your group to say the consonant aloud and then act out the action. Pick up the speed as fluency increases! For a small group, have your kids perform the action and the rest of the group guess the letter! Have fun and good luck!
