Teaching style

My teaching style is collaborative, student-centered, and innovation-driven. Focused on the following core pillars: Real-World Learning: I deliver science instruction through creative, real-world applications and implement Project-Based Learning across content areas to make lessons tangible. STEM Integration: My approach focuses on making science an interactive, community-driven journey rather than just a textbook subject. Technological Proficiency: I leverage modern educational tools while employing Emergent Bilingual and GT strategies to ensure my instruction is accessible and effective for diverse learners.

My own education history

My educational background reflects a deep commitment to both the biological sciences and the evolution of pedagogical strategies. I hold a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington, which I completed in 2020. This advanced degree is built upon a solid scientific foundation established at the University of Texas at El Paso, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2013.
