Experience

I have been teaching for 5 years. I have taught 5th grade, 4th grade, 3rd grade and 1st grade, but I love 3rd the best! I love how each grade level brings its own set of challenges!

Teaching style

I love to teach through manipulatives and games! I truly enjoy making or printing different types of activities to reinforce what we have learned! Our class enjoys Jeopardy, Bingo, Station Rotation, Who Am I, Trivia and Escape Rooms! I find a lot of my students can understand a concept better, if they are struggling with it, when they are playing a game!

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's Degree from the College of Saint Rose and a Master's Degree from Mercy College. I am certified in Early Education, Childhood Education and Special Education.
