My Piggy Bank: A Teaching Money Game
This game is sure to delight your littles! Students get to roll a coin dice and thats where the fun begins. Just grab your class set of coins and then the fun AND learning take off! This game can be leveled and can also be taught in small group or in partners (see enclosed ideas). If you come up with a new version, I'd love to hear about it!
I have included a die with realistic coin clip art to use with the game. Just print die and mats on card stock and laminate. I also reinforce the edge

I am a Kindergarten teacher at a Charter School in California. This is my eighth year teaching. My undergrad is in Early Childhood Education, I hold a Multiple Subject California Credential, and have a Masters in Teaching with a Best Practice specializaiton.
Teaching style
I teach in a center driven rotation throughout the day. Students are placed in heterogeneous groups which allow for differentiated instruction. I have the freedom to let the students show me where to go next, set the pace, and choose what we will focus on. I listen, discuss, and assess to help further decide where we are headed. I feel very lucky to have this freedom, but it makes for long hours.

Additional biographical information
I am a mother of three boys. My adventure as a mother has led me down path I did not anticipate. My oldest son is Autistic and will be cognitively forever five. I am both blessed and content with the path I travel.
