Dedicated math curriculum coordinator with a mission to bring fun and joy to the math world from kindergarten through twelfth grade. With a strong passion for creating engaging games and interactive activities, I strive to make math accessible and enjoyable for all students. My goal is to foster a love for mathematics by developing resources that inspire curiosity and promote active learning. Thanksgiving Dinner Planning Project
Have your students use current grocery store ads to plan a Thanksgiving meal. Students will plan a meal for 5 comparing prices and unit rates from three stores. Give all students the same budget or assign budgets at random. Students have a blast planning a meal for Thanksgiving!

Fraction Decimal Percent Art
Students will create a design of their choice. They will use exactly 8 colors to create their design. No color should be used the same number of times. Once students have created their design they will count how many times they have used each color. They will then write each color value as a fraction, decimal, and a percent.

March Madness Statistics Project
Students select a NCAA tournament team. They then use the data from that team’s season to calculate win percentages, mean, median, and mode. Students also create a histogram and box and whisker from the team’s data.

Teaching style
I thrive on creating a fun and engaging atmosphere in my math class! Keeping students excited and eager to attend is a challenge I embrace every day. I believe that by incorporating games, hands-on activities, and interactive lessons, I can make math not just a subject, but an enjoyable experience. My goal is to spark curiosity and inspire my students to see the joy in learning math.
