FOUR Keeps

This Gist checklist is a way to make sure students are stopping and checking for understanding as they are reading. The checklist breaks down each of the steps in order for the students to use the checklists independently in order to remind them what to do while they are reading in order to self-check for understanding.

A variety of single step word problems. This page includes problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. This is a great review tool, or as practice identifying key words in order to decide which operation should be used to solve.

This bookmark gives students step by step instructions on how to solve division problems using the partial product method. Great for students in the fourth grade who have trouble remembering all of the partial product steps. This bookmark is also great as a note page inside interactive notebooks.
