I have been working with children for the past 15 years. While pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education, I worked at a daycare where I created fun and engaging learning activities for children as young as two years old and worked with students up to preschool. I also volunteered as a tutor at the Boys and Girls Club during this time.
After graduating with my degree in Early Childhood Education, along with certifications in ESOL and gifted education, I began my teaching career. I spent one year teaching 2nd grade before moving to 5th grade, where I taught ELA and science for three years. Later, I transitioned into the role of an intervention specialist at my school. In this role, I supported K-5 students, including gifted learners, ESOL students, and those in the Early Intervention Program, with a focus on math and reading.
After having my second son, I decided to leave the classroom to focus on my family, and I knew I wanted to homeschool. Since then, Iβve been homeschooling my oldest son and tutoring students on the side. Recently, Iβve channeled my passion for education into creating content and sharing educational materials for others to use.
