This powerpoint is a walkthrough of all of the elements of a narrative writing. I spend two days on this lesson followed by a day of a "dialogue lesson" teaching students how to properly write dialogue. Then we go into our spooky narrative writing... I have students create a scary story to share on Halloween day with the class. This presentation is the perfect way to introduce or review narrative writings before beginning to write one!
