This plan book is designed for a reading and writing teacher or for a teacher of two subjects. It has a spot for the common core state standard, class agenda, what work is to be collected, and what work is assigned as homework. I created this for myself so that I could be very intentional about including the CCSS in every single lesson. I used “I can…” statements for each ELA CCSS found at http://www.corestandards.org/. These are to be used for display in poster form in my class as we are using them. I also included for each ELA area, a progress check sheet of matching standards that can be used to track each student. If you find this helpful, please let me know.
