Additional biographical information

Mr. Saraco began the journey of teaching in 1989 and has taught just about every grade in elementary school. In 1991 he received his Master's of Science in Educational Leadership and has been an Assistant Principal in both a private and public school setting. In May of 2002 he had the awesome opportunity of moving to Sydney, Australia where he taught Year 2, 3, and 5. The University of Central Florida hired him to teach future teachers and he really enjoyed sharing his many experiences with them. Then in January of 2009 he returned to DeBary Elementary, a school that he helped open back in 1996. While at Debary Elementary he has taught 5th grade, 2nd grade, and a 2/3 combo for two years. During the 2012-13 school year Mr. Saraco taught 3rd grade at Pride Elementary. Since arriving to North Carolina and Park View Elementary School in 2013 Mr. Saraco has taught first grade. For the 2015-16 school year he is returning to 3rd grade, and is excited about creating a dynamic learning environment for his students. On the personal side, Mr. Saraco's loves all things 'creative'. He owns and operates a successful photography studio, and enjoys capturing the special moments that life brings each individual and family.
