Need a quick way to add tabs to your student's interactive notebooks? (These would work on composition books, spiral notebooks, or paper in a binder.) Print this file onto Avery 5160 style labels and have your students stick them on. Quick and simple!
The file comes as a MSWord document so you can edit and customize the labels on the tabs. Tabs come labeled as Genre and Vocab, but you can change them to whatever you need.
A worksheet to use with a measurement unit (measurement in inches). Students go on a "measure hunt" around the classroom, finding objects that are approx. the same size as the measurements listed on the sheet. Students must measure with paper clips, then with rulers. Helps students learn to estimate sizes as well as practice actual measurement.

These short checklists are handy for those students who always seem to leave something important behind when they go home for the day. The first page is labels that I print out and stick at the bottom of the page in their daily planners. The second page is a larger version. I print these on colored paper, laminate, cut, and stick onto students' desks. They can use their dry-erase markers to check off items as they go.
