The first step in speaking in a language is saying hello! By the end, your beginner French students should be able to circulate in a room (or online breakout room) and greet and introduce themselves. These are the basics in greeting others, suitable for first time core French learners from grade 5+ you could even use it for review in grade 10 core French depending on your group. Equip your students with the know how of using the useful but irregular verb “faire” in French. This fun slide deck introduces, practices or reviews the verb faire with around 18 expressions that are commonly used. Included in the deck are 12 images to practice the learning. This deck has space to fill in the answers on a smart board but also an answer slide. To support the deck I included a student handout one side is to review what was learned.
