Need a fun activity to practice physical descriptions in French? This activity is a play on the "Guess who" game that we used to play, but with a twist! It is in French and students get to create their own cards based on the suggestions. This activity was a real hit with my middle school Core French students. You can only go so far in French, before you need to use the past tense. This part of the journey into the passé composé is with avoir. It works well for an online or in-person class. The passé composé can seem a little scary for learners, so I have condensed this verb tense into smart parts. Please note that "avoir" is half of the passé composé, I think it is wise to split avoir and être so that it is less overwhelming.
