These templates are designed to help teachers and students identify and describe the specific aspects and evaluation criteria for research in psychology. There is an explanatory teachers' copy that explains each criteria (how to give the aim of a study, how to evaluate external validity etc.) and provides examples. A blank copy is included so students can use it to outline studies throughout their course. I give my students the filled in version and also use it as a teaching tool when outlining

This argumentative essay is based on the IB Psychology Paper 1 essay prompt "Discuss ethical considerations related to research studies at the cognitive level." It purposefully uses research not found in most curricula as the idea is stimulate discussions on the specific ethical issues raised in the essay rather than give a list of easily memorized studies and concerns. Hopefully the class as a whole will read it then relate the concerns not just to psychological research but to the world around
