This is a fractions assessment I created to cover the 3rd grade Minnesota State Standards math standards. This assessment covers all standards related to fractions. On the assessment the questions are broken down by standard so you can easily see where students excel and where they need more help. I tried to make this as colorful and kid friendly as possible with out making it overwhelming and distracting. My class starts off with Daily Oral Language everyday. We do anywhere from 1 to 4 sentences a day. I write a sentence with errors and the students write the sentence with out the mistakes. Once we are done, students flip to the back and journal for 7 minutes. This document is an easy way to cover 2 important topics as part of my reading lesson.
