Persuasive Letter to Santa
Need two weeks of writing plans before your winter break? Look no further! This unit is complete with detailed lesson plans with explicit instruction, black line masters, anchor charts, engaging activities where students orally rehearse their letter plan, editing/revising check-off sheet, rubric, and is common core aligned for 2nd grade. Compare/Contrast 2 Versions of the Same Story Assessment-Cinderella
This assessment is common core aligned for RL.2.9, RL.3.9, W.2.3, W.3.3, SL.2.1, SL.2.2, SL.3.1, and S.L3.2. It includes DOK level 3 & 4 level tasks and metacognition, as well so that students can self-assess/reflect. It could also be used as an assignment instead. Teacher will need two books: Cinderella and Cinder-Ellie either checked out from a library or purchased.
